We'd like to welcome you in our guesthouse/B&B/lodge Hottentots View in Somerset West, with a glass of 'lekker' South African wine and a tidbit, a cup of coffee or tea if you prefer.

Use this guesthouse/B&B/lodge as a base to explore the Western Cape and the Cape Winelands, Hottentots View is only 5 minutes from the sandy beaches from False Bay, 15 min from Stellenbosch, 25 minutes from Cape Town international airport and 45 minutes from Cape Town city centre.

Relax in one of the 5 "deluxe" garden cottages, situated around the swimming pool.  They all consist of spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, terrace with stunning views over the Hottentots-Holland mountains and a separate entrance for each room. The bridal suite is situated in the main building.

A sumptuous breakfast is served each morning and a delicious dinner or braai (barbecue) can be served on request in the evening.

You will certainly find peace and tranquillity in the lush greenery of the gardens, by the sparkling swimming pool, or in the shade of the patios.
