180° STUNNING VIEWS OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND FALSE BAY

Guest house Hottentots View is located in the residential area of Somerset West, at the foothills of the Hottentots-Holland mountains and Helderberg Nature Reserve, which gives stunning views over this mountains and overlooks a part of False Bay.

We are situated at the start of the wine route which gives easy access to other Cape Wineland towns like Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschhoek and Wellington.

"This oasis of peace and tranquillity" is ideally located to explore the Cape Peninsula, the Cape Winelands and the Western Cape.  A 5 minutes drive takes us to the white sandy beach from False Bay, 15 minutes to Stellenbosch, 20 minutes to Cape Town International Airport and 40 minutes to Cape Town Table mountain and Cape Town city centre. "Vergelegen wine-estate" (one of the oldest and most imposing wine estate in the country, the camphor trees have been declared a national monument and the extensive grounds are delightful) and "Erinvale Golf Estate" are both located in Lourensford Road, at 2 km from our guesthouse.
